Who we are

R.C Vehicle Solutions ("we"), a sole trader, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: r.cvehiclesolutions@outlook.com.

What we collect

• Booking and enquiry details: name, email, phone, vehicle registration/make/model/mileage, the address where we'll work on or collect the vehicle, and any notes you give us.
• Vehicle details looked up from your registration (e.g. make, model and MOT expiry) from DVSA/DVLA, to help prepare your quote.
• Account details if you sign in: name, email and profile picture from Google, Facebook or Microsoft.
• Anonymous, cookie-free usage statistics (pages viewed, device type) to improve the site.

Why we use it

• To provide the service you booked (contract).
• To send confirmations, reminders and updates about your booking (contract).
• To keep business and tax records (legal obligation).

We don't sell your data or use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run this website — hosting, database and email delivery — under data-processing agreements.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for 6 years for accounting purposes, then deleted. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cookie choice.

With your permission only, we use Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*, kept up to 2 years) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular and whether people manage to book. Google processes this data on our behalf; IP addresses aren't stored and we don't use it for advertising. You can accept or reject on your first visit and change your mind any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
